 OYMI Concerto Competiton

The inaugural 2021 Outstanding Young Musicians International Concerto Competition will be open to all Piano, vocal and string instruments. All participants must be under 23 years old (age as of January 1st, 2021). All participants are required to submit an application form and send in a link of a movement of a concerto where they are featured as a soloist. Participants may select to play a different concerto, should they advance to the final round. Each participant who advances to the final round will play one movement of a concerto. Chosen finalists will be invited to perform in a live audition in front of a jury.

Prizes: 

Grand Prize Winner will be awarded $600 scholarship and will perform as a soloist with the Chinese Arts Society of Toronto Orchestra in the 2020-2021 season

Second Prize Winner will be awarded $300 scholarship and will perform as a soloist with the Chinese Arts Society of Toronto Orchestra in the 2020-2021 season

Third Prize Winner will perform as a soloist with the Outstanding Young Musicians Chamber Orchestra in the 2020-2021 season

 

Note: Participants who advance to the Final Round must perform with an accompanist. Participants must arrange for their own Piano accompaniment.
